Built for the moments you can’t wait.
Baño is the public-restroom map for New York City — made in NYC, for anyone who’s ever needed one and couldn’t find one.

A bathroom, when you need one.
When @mattlovestech moved to Brooklyn, finding a public bathroom felt impossible. With a mother managing a medical condition, the urgency was personal — so he built Baño to help people like her find accessible restrooms in NYC, fast.
Today it’s walking times, real distances, and the kind of details only locals know — for everyone in the city.
Bano or Baño?
Baño is Spanish for bathroom. The tilde gets lost in URLs and keyboards, so you’ll see it both ways — same place, same map.
The people we lean on.
Baño builds on data and advocacy from groups working on restroom access long before we showed up.
